Why Get Salted

In recent years our society has been faced with a growing epidemic of respiratory conditions. Statistics show an increase in conditions such as allergies asthma, and COPD due to poor air quality, pollens and toxins in our environment. Halotherapy (Salt Therapy) has been researched for decades, and has been proven to be a safe natural therapeutic treatment for the respiratory system and has benefits for the skin as well.

We use 99.9% pure medical grade salt. The highest and purest quality available, in our S.A.L.T. Chamber Halogenerator. This salt is heated and dried prior to use and ground into finite particles that are dispersed into the salt chamber. As you relax in our beautiful salt room these micro particles are inhaled, penetrating deep into the lungs, bronchi, bronchioles and alveoli. Once the dry salt is inhaled it begins to absorb moisture and thin mucus (making it easier to transport out of the body), opening the breathing passages and benefiting the lungs by removing toxins and increasing oxygen capacity.

Why Get Salted

Many people who use dry salt therapy on a regular basis find relief from Allergies, Asthma, COPD, Bronchitis, Common Cold, cystic Fibrosis and other respiratory conditions. Salt Therapy has also been proven to greatly benefit the skin, which is the largest organ for detoxification of the body. It is particularly beneficial for people that suffer from psoriasis, acne, and eczema, conditions which can be very difficult to treat with other contemporary methods. It has also shown potential for anti-aging of the skin.

One does not have to have a medical condition to benefit from salt therapy. It is excellent for relaxation, anti-stress, and general wellness, and is a wonderful modality to combine with mindful breathing practices, meditation and yoga, which we also offer to our clients.

Most Chronic conditions require frequency and consistency for optimum results. We have seen the great results in clients who start out at 2-4 sessions per week over a 14-21 days period and decrease as they see the benefits and gain more relief over time. Acute conditions may resolve more quickly.

Fairhope sits right on Mobile Bay and just miles from the sugar sand beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. As tranquil as Bay and Beach living are, the salt in the air at the beach is not dry, it is wet and moist.

The salt content in the air is due to evaporation from the Gulf. The salt particles become saturated and can no longer be absorbent. Benefits of wet salt can not be received on a therapeutic level like dry salt therapy can therapeutically benefit the respiratory system.

Dry Salt Therapy, also known as halotherapy, is inhaled dry salt that functions as a super-absorbent sponge that absorbs and dispels mucous, allergens, and foreign substances lingering in our respiratory system. Salt is water soluble and is delivered and transported through our lymphatic waste system.

Halotherapy benefits infants, children, adults, athletes and even animals! Salt Therapy is natural with no side effects.
